So there's that impulsive, impatient, self-advancing, sociable, need-for-creation Aries influence for you.
For starters, we have a new addition to our washroom family. A electronic addition that is.

Yeah, Ken was at our friend Barteks house on Saturday playing around with a digital art tablet and noticed that he had one of these fancy toothbrushes, and had nothing but rave reviews for it. And knowing that our dentist had recommended that we invest in a set, we were compelled to get some at Costco, even though we could have gotten them on sale a few months earlier. Lame!
I would say that the highlight of our weekend was waiting for them to charge. 16 hours is WAY too long. But when it was finally over, our teeth were nice and polished! The sonicare brushes tickle and sound like UFO's in your mouth. Pretty sweet.
Ken then decided that he wanted to get a computer art tablet. Ya know, to be more creative.
(And to design me a hoop brand logo of course)

He also wants to get a new lens for his camera so that when the garden starts to bloom, he'll be ready to get some quality images. And yeah of course I want a nice camera too (I'm thinking a Canon Rebel) but I'm definately gonna have to wait on that one.
But, some things I definately couldn't wait on, are these cuties...
(from C&B)

The wood bowls, naturally. We always have a lot of fruit lying around our kitchen counters, and for now, we keep them in a tacky metal bowl. But those days will soon be over. Peace out tacky bowl.
Oh, ya know, and these

(just the magazine holders)
I figured they'd be great to store my binders full of health article/recipe tear-outs, since they are currently on the floor of the office. Not very comfy.
For the way far future, like when the living room is remodeled and we have more space, I have a vision like this...
Except, pay no attention to anything in the photo except the low coffee table.

I want to get two of them, and put them side by side to make a big square table. A chill table. Ya know where we can pop a squat on some cute floor cushions and do stuff that you would do at low tables. Drink tea, eat breakfast, read a book, paint, do creative projects, whatevah.
Those, however, are from my OTHER favorite store in the whole world, West Elm. And if you know west elm furniture, you definately have to save for it. Kinda redic! But I have a year to do so, cus we don't really have space till then.
While I'd love to find some plush floor cushions, like these

to purchase with the chill tables, most I've seen are WAY over priced. So I think I'm going to end up hand-making some. Another project to add to the never ending list!
So in conclusion, I guess, I didn't go TOO crazy.
But there are still 3 more weeks of the Aries solar return.
I will try to harness my firey instincts until then.
