TGIF

Thank goodness this week is almost over.

My left hand has had a very bad week.
Burned in 2 places, nail scrape cuts in 2 places, paper cuts, hooping cuts, and seriously just sawing into it with the kitchen knives which I did again this morning when cutting my breakfast bagel.

I need healing time.

I also need to take advantage of the forecasted 51 degree weather that is supposedly happening tomorrow afternoon. Can you say massive car cleaning?

I don't think we've seen that kind of temperature since the end of November. I'm excited to think that the worst is over. I'm making spring plans in my head already. When the snow is all gone which hopefully will happen soon, I will declare winter over! Even tho I'm sure it will snow again anyways. Whatevah.

Things I did this week:

Got this in the mail...

Smells delicious.

It's about time I got a new scent. And actually, I have another on the way, but it's a secret because Ken smelled it in Ulta the other week and loved it so much. I wasn't crazy about it but decided to get it so that I could wear it on Valentines Day just for him. And who knows, maybe I'll warm up to it. So shhhh don't tell... this is it..

I also washed and blow dried, and then brushed the dog twice. Wow not so special right? Except with Kacey, it is. She's a woolly mammoth dog. Total grooming time was over 3 hours. Anyways, I'm glad she smells great and feels silky smooth. Now if only she would just stop barking at nothing sometimes.

I did a little shopping too. Filled the house with V-day candies for no other reason than to be unhealthy. Got some new hangers. Searched for bookshelves. No luck still. :(

Found out my little sister Julie will be in town on the 22nd and was free to go out, but that's also Kens big #29 so that was frustrating timing. More sad face.

Last time we hung out was over Xmas Break at Smart Bar.

That was a fun night!

Ken and I DID end up watching the Superbowl on Sunday. And not because either of us have any interest in that sport whatsoever, because it just so happens it is pretty much the ONLY sport I find completely boring (and I am into most sports). So that just leaves us with the only other reason anyone watches the Superbowl, to laugh at and/or judge commercials and eat a bunch of deliciously-bad-for-you snacks all night long. And that we did! I made the best nachos you don't even want to know.

Tuesday morning we attempted to get a free grand-slam breakfast from Denny's (which was advertised on Sunday). And well, that didn't work out because A) the one Denny's we knew of in the area was closed down last year. And B) when we looked online for another location, the website told us to go to a street that didn't exist, and so, neither did the Denny's.

So instead of a FREE grand slam, which I would have given 1/2 of to Ken anyways because I don't eat bacon or sausage, we paid for breakfast at a Dunkin Donuts. Fabulous. Not really.
I really wanted pancakes and hashbrowns.

Speaking of pancakes. I REALLY want a waffle maker. But not just any waffle maker. A really good one. But every time I go down the waffle iron isle in a store I get mad that most of them are like $50. Re-crockulous!

Did I mention I also really need a booshelf!!
