I have been incredibly distracted lately.
But I guess it IS spring so that is understandable. It's not that things have not gone unaccomplished. I just haven't had the chance to document them.
I learned a bunch of new hoop tricks the other day. Sweet stuff.
Kinda frustrating though because a lot of them need a lot of space to manouver. Or at least a lot more vertical space then our basement ceiling offers. eek.
I'm still counting down the days to when its a solid 60 degrees or above every day. Getting closer! Then watch out, you'll never hear from me again. hehe.
My pretty West Elm rustic wood fruit bowls finally arrived, or at least I call them my fruit bowls.
I got also finally got a bunch of sweet new hooping materials, which I need to put on the new myspace page for Virsata Hoops. That's quite a job in itself. After that I'll start the friend adding process. So far I haven't told many people about it. I'd rather it be done first. My goal for that is May 3rd.
Ken has since received his digital art tablet and totally loves it. That thing is so much bigger than it looked in the image I posted. He made me some scribbles for fun...

He also did a bit of work on my VH logo which I'll post later on, and it looks great, but it's not quite complete yet. Hopefully we can work on it more this weekend as well.
In other news, I've gone to a few events in the past 2 weeks. Both of which were pretty sweet.
Makes me want to get out more these days.
I was planning on going to Detroit this year for the Electronic Music Festival, because I haven't been in 3 years and have been missing it badly. Not to mention it would be a GREAT place to do some hoopin. But it looks like I may have to skip it one more year. This makes me eternally sad, but I realize there are more important things to be taken care of. Here's to hoping for 2010.
